You're better off posting the Imperial badges in the Imperial forum.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
Hi Dave is this thinking of dipping your toe into this kind of collecting.
I do know one thing and that is that even cheaper items like this are faked so be wary.
I ve been studying these for a year now and own four but I still find it hard to tell the difference from good and bad. It always seems to be the backs that give the game away. I am sure the guys up here will keep you right.
All the best
Rod
First one looks bad, IMO. The second Imperial badge could be ok.
The last three appear to be original de-nazified
WWII badges.........

Steve.
Hello Dave
As Steve has already said, the first badge is rubbish. These things with their dodgy hinge & pin
configuration appear regularly on sites like Ebay & Ioffer. I have just had a quick look at Ebay &
the crook trying to sell the second badge, the imperial, wants $130 buy it now for it. Absolutely
ridiculous. This badge is a black that has lost its paint & the seller reeks of scam. The de-nazifieds
look O.K.

Brett
Actually with a bit more perusing I found that badges 3 & 4, the de- nazifieds are from the same seller
as badge number 2 & he wants $170 buy it now for each of these. Shop around Dave, these prices are
madness & the badges are in no way "ultra rare" like this con artist says.
Regards
Brett
Hello there,
The first one (photographed on the fur) is not authentic IMO.
