Yardsale Verwundetenabzeichen 1939 in Silber,could it be real?

Article about: Paid 20.00,pin and catch look old.My friend saw it first and said its a repo because the real ones are stamped thin metal.I said ok it could be a repo but I like it ha ha.

    Well your friend really doesn't know what he is talking about. Lucky for you however. I don't study these nor have any reference material but I think this is a good tombak example

    Wait for others to provide more details on maker or to correct me . But at $20. it was a good gamble.

    I believe it is the same maker as my example posted previously here.
    Verwundetenabzeichen 1939 in Silber, Unmarked.

    It's a good unmarked '30' silver grade by Hauptmunzamt Wien.

    Thanks guys!Steve yours has some notches on the outside edge this one dosent have,is that just a different variation of the same maker?

    I think those notches are from the coin easel the badge is sitting on.
