    Hello All,
In a desperate attempt to add something new to my collection (except the German Mothers Cross) I stumbled on to a couple of hollow tank assault badges.
This bronze has really got me stumped...Is it genuine or is it a new age fake.

It appears to be brass or other gilding metal that is coated.
At first glance I thought AS or even an Assmann but started to notice differences to the genuine badges.

The wear seems to be fairly honest but taking a look at the area between the swastika and turret top there seems to be an excess of metalwork?

Looking at the back I thought with the round plate under the hook Deumer...but no way the machine gun port is incorrect.

So I am stumped with this one.

It comes along with a silver grade which I am fairly sure is a good Franke and Co which I'll post shortly for review but any help would be appreciated.

    Cheers
    Doug

You're sounding more like Harryamb everyday mate.....

I agree though, it's the notorious Juncker based "Two Dot" fake as highlighted below.

    Thanks Stewy,Ned.
The two dot fake is one I haven't come across before.
I quite like it and would add it to my reproduction collection but unfortunately it's priced wayyyy too high

    All the best
