Hoping this Panzerkampfabzeichen is real, opinions please

Presented is what I believed to be a real hollow back silver Panzerkampfabzeichen (panzer assault badge). So far the articles I have acquired from this source some 12 years ago have panned out poorly.

I have researched here and tend to think this will be classified as some form of the "blob gun", but not 100%. Also seemed like the "two dots", but I do not see any such dots. The pin is weak, but seems some originals have similar think I find matching examples claimed as real on some sites, even today...

Around this time I bought a "high quality" aniti-partisan badge; in equal part to see what a fake looked like, but also because I knew enough even then to stay away from those. I include a comparison of the known fake partisan along side my suspect Panzer badge to help show the relative detail.

Thanks for any opinions and history you may provide.

The rest of the pics. Left them large for max detail. Also, I guess dumbell tracks are bad...

Records are weak on this one. Ebay, likely around 60 bucks again.

Sorry, but I don't think it's good. The lack of detail on marked area are of concern. The tracks as well - look like barbells, but wait for Stewy or one of the other experts.

I agree with Tom, it looks bad. It looks like the "Blob" fake based on the B.H. Mayer badge. The machine gun port has that round ball shape to it. Let's see what Stewy has to say.

I found a thread here that claims to show a genunine version of the PAB from this maker. Its close, but, alas, no cigar for me, again.
