Nice Did the original owner of this Waffenrock have a PKA, EKI and SWB? Shouldn't there be an EKII ribbon on it as well? The two ribbons on the ribbon bar all belong to so-called "Occupation Medals" which civilians also were awarded, but the awards are the awards of a front soldier? And besides isn't that an Artillery Waffenrock?? Care to enlighten me my friend? I'm too tired to think perfectly so if what I write makes no sense, ignore it

When i got the notification, of a new reply, by email the word ''Kenneth'' came in my mind. I'm glad i was right
It seems that every Saturday night we are the only ones here
I have no idea what the original owner had in the 3 loop sets. I had chosen those awards because they display nice. the bar came with the tunic but i'll replace it with another one that will have an EKII ribbon piece. That is necessary to fill the gap that the EKI is making.
What i wasn't sure is if the lack of a ribbon on the 2nd button hole affects the use of an EKI. I mean was it necessary to wear the EKII ribbon on the button hole or was it ok to place it on the mini bar as well? Coz this is my plan. To place an EKII on the ribbon bar and EKI on the middle loop set.

Then I understand Chris As far as I know it was acceptable to wear the ribbon in two ways, the "button-hole style" and as part of a ribbon bar. But according to the regulations a soldier was not permitted to wear a button-hole EKII ribbon and an EKII ribbon on a ribbon bar at the same time. But photographic evidence shows that this regulation was often flouted by soldiers that chose to wear both at the same time.

    Chris,

put a EKII and a WiO ribbon to the buttonhole, and a KVKII and 4 year service to the ribbon bar loop.

It's a nice display Chris. You definitely need an EK2 ribbon on there as well though, either through the buttonhole or on the ribbonbar. I suggest you have a search through some period photos of Waffenfrock portraits, see which was the most common method of wear and go with that. If there is no conclusive way, János has made an excellent suggestion.

Good morning guys. I agree with Janos suggestion as well and an addition of an EKII is mandatory, but i wouldn't add a ribbon on the tunic coz IMO that is a permanent interference with the tunics character. This is the reason i don't add award loops as well. If it comes with ok, but i never do it my self. The ribbon bar with an EKII seems a better solution

I think you can put those ribbons to the buttonhole wihtout sewing it directly to the uniform if you don't wear it everyday at work of course.
If you don't want to do that than buy something like that:
