Oh well look at this one to for $950. Just a little beat
The right one will come along and you'll know it when you see it...That's been my experience in this hobby...

There is always hope!
So all in all I have made the decision to save for a good condition badge. Thanks for not letting me make a $950 mistake!
I would like to echo the words of Glenn. That was probably one of the best pieces of advice that I have ever gotten in regards to collecting and luckily I was told that by an experienced friend when I first started. The right one will come along for the right price, just keep waiting.
The wait is 1/2 the fun isn't it?
I waited and saved more money to purchase a tank badge. This badge is listed as a unmarked JFS. I want it for display purposes but do you guys like it?
$1650 is still a lot of money IMO for a badge with a missing hinge and latch.
He has complete ones for $500 more. Your call....
Cheers, Dan

You are certainly not finding the cheapest place to buy from.
I would wait and look and get one with all the bits intact.
