Hello, I'm new on the forum and need your help. Here is some pics of Panzerkampfabzeichen badge I prize. Can you verify if it's fake or original item?
Regards, Kaizer.

Hello Kaizer,
It appears to be an NS Juncker, but either the detailing is soft, or it's just plain worn down, I can't tell by the pics. It appears to have a flat wire catch which wouldn't be correct. The straight pin would also be wrong on a Juncker. It should have a bend in it just below the hinge, which I'm not crazy about either. I would like to say more, but the pics just aren't clear enough for my old eyes
I would love to hear what Stewy or one of the other gentlemen would have to say on this one.
BR,
James
Thanks for reply, mansioneer.
That badge is very elastic, I thought it's made from some lead with some % of tin? I don't know... The flat wire catch is wrought from some trash-copper-wire. Because original was lost somehow.
Ok, here is HI-RES photos! I hope you can clock something !
-Thanks, Kaizer.

The fact it is 'very elastic' would be warning sign to me, can you bend it easily?
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
Looks like the hing and catch were replaced.
Jay
Yeah, it's pretty easy to bend it, especially in fact that lower part of swastika was ripped out off the turret... maybe because of that bay leafs on the sides are so elastic?
'Looks like the hing and catch were replaced.' - Or maybe it's just a CRAP FAKE BADGE, MAN...

Hey there Kaizer,
Sounds like a badge to run from, that's for sure. Bad set-up and easy to bend on top of it all...not good. A good one will come along soon enough
BR,
James
It would appear to be a fake badge in that case. Genuine badges are very difficult to bend (I'm not advocating anyone attempting to bend their badges though!) and likely to snap first.

Damn... that's too bad... but I can handle this and will keep looking for original one! I'm appreciate your help, guys! Thanks!
