Giving a look at this PAB for a possible pick up. Was hoping to see what you all think about its condition and originality. I believe it's a tombak, buntmetal or some such non-zinc type. I don't know the maker on this one, so other than looking at other badges to see if it looks constructed the same, I've not been able to form a good opinion on it just yet.

    Thanks everyone for your time!!!!

It looks like a good bronze B.H. Mayer to me.
I guess we'll have to wait for Ned to be sure. Here is my silver example to compare.

Looks like a beauty to me. I'm not seeing anything screaming red flags. Is likely unissued, from the condition.

Nice one! Here's my bronze Mayer in buntmetall/tombak. I need to get it scanned, these pic's are a bit rough.

    Mayer it is.

Thank you gentlemen! I'm going to take a shot at this one, but confidence isn't high that I've gotten in there. I'd like to get a set of silver and bronze tombak at some point, and this would make a great start I think. Though, for silver, I'd like to find one of those from makers that had sharper details in the grass. Some of those are really attractive, and that's the one I really want to hit on the head of the nail.

You won't find a better example of a bronze Mayer than that one, good luck getting it!

Agree with Ned. Don't think you will find a better one. I would love one like this

You won't find a better person to deal with than Eric.
I have bought a number of items from him over the past couple of years.
    Ralph.
Thought about this one myself, if you don't, I will.

It's all up to who's first in line at this point. I guess I'll know in the next 24 hours.

I managed to secure this badge, and it arrived today. I can't say anything about this one that the pictures won't do a better job explaining, so I'll just shut up and post the photos.
