Panzerkampfabzeichen in bronze

Just got this one in and I do believe it is a nice original. Maker mark is AS in triangle. Has this maker been identified?

Yes, it is original and the maker is as of yet unknown.
Ned will be able to tell you which variant this one is.
I do see the start of a little zinc pest, I suggest you wipe it down with a Q-Tip and a little Vaseline.

Hi Steve,

As Ralph says it'a a genuine mid war bronze badge by the so far unknown maker referred to as AS in Triangle. The pattern type is the second of the four known to be by them, the 3.3.2.

My opinion may differ a little from Stewy's,

Since there is so little of the pest, I would use a Q-Tip and just a little Vaseline and wipe the pest only and the close surrounding area. Leave it on for a day and then wipe as much off as you can using a soft cloth. Keep the environment in your room as stable as you can and it should last as long as you or I.
