Article about: This Panzerabzeichen 25 award is in an auction near the end of the month. I like the look of them when they are shiny however, this one looks like it has a dose of thrush. Could these marks

    This Panzerabzeichen 25 award is in an auction near the end of the month.

    I like the look of them when they are shiny however, this one looks like it has a dose of thrush. Could these marks be easily removed? And if genuine, could you identify the maker? Looking at the hinge and hook I was thinking Gustav Brehmer and the 5 in the "25" has the same little nick on the top.

    Most likely an unmarked Brehmer at a glance with zinc pest. Vaseline will help arrest it, you will never stop it but it can be controlled. Stewy
