I have recently bought a Panzerkampfabzeichen II Stufe "25" , it is supposedly a replica, but there is white stuff on some of the oak leaves, tank, and foot of the eagle. Is this really a replica, and is it really zinc pest?

Hi there, if you can post some pics we'll endeavour to answer your question. Stewy
These pics are Terrible. No camera.........?
Regards,
Steve.
Unfortunately no, as a full time high school student I don't have very much money. The white on the tank is what I'm talking about, that's not glare, it's the substance in question.
Not much money - yet you bought this badge ?
Regards,
Steve.
It was $5, and I am a bit of a tank nut.
From those pics I wouldn't touch it. As for zinc pest, even fakes are "chemically aged". There are even ground dug fakes. Stewy
These are like $2500+. I do not mean to be rude or mean,
but it is hard to tell anything from the pics.........
Regards,
Steve.
Thank you for the info, I figured it was a replica, but it looks nice near my model panzers.
