No getting upset here old boy. Take a look at the area I've highlighted, it shows that this is a heavily flawed badge and is therefore a later one. Don't get hung up on the differences, it matters not a jot when it comes to these badges, it's the amount of original finish and no repairs that counts. Always buy the best you can.

Try re-reading this thread that goes into some detail regarding the R.K. PAB and it's increasingly prominent flaw caused by the hinge crimping. I note you replied to it and must be aware of it's content so please try looking at it again, the pictures within are almost self explanatory.
