    There are 30 plus makers of PAB's. And multiple variations each by most of these makers. All in there are probably over 100 known variations.

    Quality photos are key as I noted in your other thread. Based on what I see......it might be an unmarked flat back zinc Wurster using the 3rd type die.

    But....I'm a bit rusty on these, having stopped collecting them. As such.....happy to stand corrected.


    Edit.........I stand corrected...My eyes are failing.......

    It is a zinc "small W" Wurster. I missed the "W" in the upper left corner. Known as the type 1.2.4b Small "w" variant. Still using the 3rd type die.

    A nice example. While not "rare", I understand it is less common. Value is reduced given the broken catch

    I see that it has a small "W" to the left of the catch so, it is a small "W" Wurster.
