    It'a a good 2nd pattern zinc badge by Meybauer. The flaw you highlight is where the part of the die tool that punched out the "chads" between the swastika arms (which is such a distinctive point of many Meybauer badges), had failed or worn to the point of no longer functioning and can be found in various degrees of decreasing condition over a number of these particular solid zinc Panzerkampfabzeichen's.

    That name was used prior to the manufacturer being identified fairly recently. Not so easily apparent on yours due to wear and crud build up, but here ya go.
