Hi, I have a long badge collection.
I bought the book THE GERMAN PANZER ASSAULT BADGE OF WW2-Philippe de Bock.
I am pleased with the book.
I am glad that this badge is in the book in the first place.

    Version Tombak 1.1.3

Are you trying to get someone to authenticate it?
It's very unclear from what you're saying, but assuming you are, I think it looks a bit dull to me, though looking at the condition it could just be from wear.

It's not the type 1.1.3 made from tombak, that's exceedingly rare and has a different hinge than this one. Looking at the hinge, it's clearly the later wraparound type with the small base trimmed at the corners. That makes it a type 1.1.2b. The badge is actually made from nickel silver, and the odd coppery/brass like appearance is 100% typical of a ground dug badge made in this material, what stories could it tell I wonder?

    Regards, Ned.

It seems a pity, but I do not think I can write more. R. SCOTT.

    Thank you.
It's not my finding I have no history.
    But I'm happy for him.
I can only say that finding is from the Czech Republic.
