Oh boy... you've made me nervous, Ned! Now I have to add weighing badges to my defense against fakes!
Look at the difference in thickness compared to the standard S&L zincer. These are faked, and really well, but I feel that this is a good one when comparing it with the known fakes out there.

It certainly looks monstrous at this angle... Here's to hoping!

    Hi Joe,
I know the member that you got it from, and I can say that William is quite knowledgeable in the medals field. I am also sure that if there turns out to be something wrong with it, you will have no problem.

I've purchased things from William in the past. He seems like a great guy and I definitely share your sentiment. I just think it's crazy that we have to jump through so many hoops as collectors to ensure that the items that fill our passion are authentic.

A must these days - I got 'thumbs up' on a $100 wound badge
last year, which was examined in more detail recently,
and is now regarded as a 'Floch' fake !

I've also bought from William and found no faults.........
    Regards,

    Steve.

He's a lot younger than I thought! Another guy my age.

Let me know when that flag arrives, Steve!
