Hello,
I just joined this forum tonight, which seems to be interesting.
My 1st thread is about a PAB I'd like to know if it's a good one or not. I only have 2 pictures, and waiting for others.
Maybe could you help me with that?
Thanks!
Greg.

Hi Greg, better pics would help if you can get them. Stewy
Thanks for your fast answer! I mailed the seller tonight to have more pictures.
He will probably send it to me tomorrow.
Greg.
Hi Greg,
Welcome to the forum. The badge looks O.K. on first appearance, but rather worn. TBH, the pic's are rather small and can't be zoomed onto for a good close look, but i'll give it a cautious...
Regards, Ned.
FURIOUS BACKPEDDLING EDIT!!!
Check this out, it matches all the flaws perfectly, and this one is a fake so........
I can't believe I actually put a magnifying glass up to the screen!

We shall stick it out to the end, but we are getting weaker of course, and the end cannot be far.
It seems a pity, but I do not think I can write more. R. SCOTT.

Ned, it may be just me. But doesn't the hinge look to be placed quite high? Stewy
The different PAB from FLL I've already saw have the hinge high placed like that.
Hello and welcome to the forum!
Please read this thread concerning the posting of photos.
Please don't use picture hosting from other picture hosting sites for the forum
Other members, myself included, will be better able to help you if they are able to view good photos.
Here is a thread on these very badges to compare.
Panzerkampfabzeichen in Bronze, FLL 43, Freiderich Linden, Ludenschied
Ralph.
Searching for anything relating to, Anton Boos, 934 Stamm. Kp. Pz. Erz. Abt. 7, 3 Kompanie, Panzer-Regiment 2, 16th Panzer-Division (My father)
Hi rbminis,
Thanks for your links. I've already saw this badge before registering. "Mine" is different, but FLL is supposed to have produced 5 different types of PAB.
Big ned, you just made me save money! Pictures were finally not so bad
Thanks again. I'm gonna love this forum I think.
Greg.
We are glad to help. Stewy
Hi and welcome to the forum, all the FLL 43 PAB's I have seen seem to have a messy catch solder joint. This one looks much to neat to me so I feel that it is a fake! Leon.
