Hello John,
Yours may have a repaired catch.
You can compare to my example here,
Panzerkampfabzeichen in Silber, KWM, Karl Wurster

It's not that that bugs me Jamie. And thanks Ralph I have one on my site that I have no issues with but this one......same maker measurements are ok but slightly heavy it is for me the lack of definition on the right hand bottom leaf. And the soft outline details on the back PLUS it looks like plier marks back bottom right in a vain attempt to make it concave. ...... it's being offered as a px on the one on my site. Strange?
Hi John,
Sorry, I misunderstood.
I agree about the plier marks though.
Ralph.

Learning you are, young Padawan. This badge bears the identical flaw as the Staegemeir fakes do, as Jamie correctly points out. there are now several examples of the KWM marked badges with various finishes and set ups, but the 'blob' on the track is always there. Not one I'd entertain any further.
Regards, Ned.

Thanks soooo much guys - and Jamie - I'm impressed. well done
In my own defense - I knew something was up - and I couldn't put my finger on it, what initially worried me was the lack of detail in the bottom right leaf vein - all 3 dies have definition - this one didn't and that set off the alarm bells
My thanks go out to Steve Jamie and Ralph
