Bad news I'm afraid. A.S. only ever produced a ball hinge crimp Panzerkampf Abzeichen, not one like the one above, or any other type like it for that matter. The catch is totally wrong too and the badge is obviously cast as well. The lack of detail and awful pitted/flawed back show this as a very poorly executed fake.

Ned is absolutely right. It's a cast fake which bears no resemblance to an original badge by this maker.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
