I could not find this maker anywhere. Does anyone know who EWE is? Or is this just a good repro?

I cannot comment on the authenticity of it, but from what I understand EWE is an unknown and hard to find maker that was most likely based in Austria. Ralph has a very nice one that he could share, as do other here I'm sure.
That sounds great, yet makes me more suspicious of its authenticity because it is rarer. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum by the way. Where in PA are you from?
EWE badges are rare. I'm leaning towards fake for this badge at the moment for a couple of reasons but I would really like to see some clearer shots of the front and back if possible please?

I will be posting more pictures tomorrow. I'm from Hazleton its in the North East.
How can you tell if these Panzer badges are repro?
Until better photos are posted, I believe that this one is a reproduction. At the very least, the pin has been replaced and I believe the catch should not have a round plate for fastening.
Ralph.

Thank you for the better pics unfortunately they only confirm my initial thoughts that the badge is a fake.
