    Hi there, it's not something I remember seeing before. It doesn't appear to follow any particular PKA design. Not that it really applies, seeing as its wooden. Difficult to gauge when it was made, time wise. Quite unique, I would think. Stewy

    I've seen a few similar wooden plaques and desk ornaments made from wood like this before, some are rather impressive. I think they may well have been POW art pieces or possibly the larger ones used in shop displays.

    When you say 'original one' do you mean 'pre May 1945'?

    I like it. The wood carving is of fine quality and I could easily envision this hanging in a Panzer HQ somewhere or perhaps in the home of a retired or disabled tank commander. Almost certainly a 1 of a kind piece.

    Or an enthusiastic woodcarving hobbyist. I'm afraid I would want some serious provenance before parting with any cash above 'curio' value level.
