A nice pair of Wiedmann badges and interesting to see the differences between the two variants. I note the makers mark is in a different place too.
Was it a stamp after the badge was made or was the makers mark incorporated into the die?
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

I think it was stamp after the badge was made. There are also variants with the catch on the bottom rim and not placed high like these

Two nice badges! I think your right about the moment the maker mark was placed. I believe in some cases There are also double strikes.

Yes i had one to a RK Winner that was a double strike !!
