Here a nice looking Wiedmann gab. I just love Wiedmann marked badge's not a maker that have the best finsh on there awards made. But the typical pin set-up and the company logo are just my personal favorite

First one is the typical "lilly pad" pin set-up




And the second one has a different set-up. Also notice there is no gap between the eagle feet and the swaz normaly there is a gap on the left or right side.




There are more variants from this maker but im still looking for those.

A nice pair of Wiedmann badges and interesting to see the differences between the two variants. I note the makers mark is in a different place too.

Was it a stamp after the badge was made or was the makers mark incorporated into the die?

I think it was stamp after the badge was made. There are also variants with the catch on the bottom rim and not placed high like these

Two nice badges! I think your right about the moment the maker mark was placed. I believe in some cases There are also double strikes.
