Good question. I saw that as sticky paper, that didnt quite come off.
Ill fire off a message to my friend who will then ask the seller (a work colleague of his).

Rough condition, from this picture hard to say its a good one. I would pass on it, for sure not a rare variant.

Yes, now that I have it, I can clearly see that it has been damaged and then repaired. It might even have been a ground-dug one. Seller was upfront about it and very nice to deal with. Maybe I should have passed it by, but I didnt have one and went for it + the price was alright (not as stated above). If it hadnt been, I would have passed it by.
