It's a textbook late Orth piece with a silver washed finish still clinging on. Although this design is very common, being used by several makers including Souval, Weidmann and others, the Orth marked badge is relatively uncommon. They come with both raised and incuse makers marks, the incuse type being far rarer. Can't say which this one is with the pic's supplied, but guessing by the subdued finish more likely the former.

We shall stick it out to the end, but we are getting weaker of course, and the end cannot be far.
It seems a pity, but I do not think I can write more. R. SCOTT.
