It could be a well worn Berg & Nolte. That's been messed with. By the way some ASA's can appear "goldish". Stewy

It was made with a silver finish but this has aged to a golden colour. Take a look at the Panzerkampfabzeichen below, this has the original finish remaining in the recesses which has turned gold.

These badges were only finished in silver but it is perhaps a later re-paint.

Yes, I think also perhaps a later re-paint and the repainting is old

ASA's were only "ASA's". No distinction in grade. Would you agree that this is a B&NL,Adrian? This is a zinc badge & they detrioate over time. But i believe this has been refinished at some point. Stewy

I think it is quite likely Stewy but you know the badges alot better than I do. Just when I think I've got one figured out, another variant comes along!
