I am by no means an expert but the clasp on the back looks very wrong to me, as well as the way the rest of the medal is made. In all of the other variants I've seen the top of the clasp is at the top of the medal and not towards the middle. I'll wait on more experienced people to give a definitive answer though.

This is an acceptable set up for this thin maker marked GAB.
The catch should have a round catch plate, not really visible in these photos.
