GAB by JFS

Am i right in saying that JFS did not manufacture a GAB, and therefore any badge displaying the 4 rivet construction and JFS logo is fake?
Coz I got one in a deal, and boy is it good! (but a fake i believe all the same)

just need to be sure before it goes in the trash

JFS only made numbered GABs.

I got stung by one of these four rivet JFS marked badges years ago pre internet days. It's sitting just in front of me as a reminder that just because it looks good, doesn't mean it is good.

Can you post any pics of yours John for reference? I'll take some of mine in the next few days and post it too.

its funny talking of JFS i got offered a DAK belt buckle yesterday JFS mark on back looked good faint traces of olive paint was £30

how do you know it's DAK? even so, £30 is nothing!

hi John it looked very real and the seller assumed it was DAK or tropical by the traces of olive paint and yes £30 is nothing

Thanks for taking the time to post the pics John, it's the same type as I got taken in by. They do look really good but at least now there is a reference here for any members researching this badge and the thread may save someone from making a mistake.
