Look forward to the photos Ambrose , unfortunatley i don't recall seeing a photo of him in his peaked cap.

Geissler did sign some photos post war but i have not been able to get my hands on one.

Many thanks for your efforts in finding a photograph of Major Gottfried Geissler wearing his peaked cap. I look forward to seeing this. I am attaching a photograph of his Knights Cross , Its a well worn L/12 . I hope it comes out ok.

Very nice Cross, Ambrose, you're very lucky to have it.

I still have the original Detlev's page with photo, if you need. But I dont' know if it possible to publish a photo marked Detlev Niemann for copyryght questions.

Now we wait for the owner of the awards, soldbuch etc. !
