I have been offered four Infantry Assault badges as part of a collection of Third Reich militaria.
I have been told this badge is original but I could please get a second opinion and also a possible maker?

Hi Glen, Looks like a good Assmann, probably maker marked 'A' on the rifle or wreath.

I can only agree with Ned...an original Assmann.
I would guess the "A" maker mark is located in the center of the Kar98k.
