The seller edited the swastika out so he is able to sell it. I'm not familiar with infantry assaults so I would like to get some help on these pieces.

Both are original badges, the Souval PAB is an example of the earliest manufactured badge they made, and is certainly of wartime manufacture. The IAB is not much more than a relic in that condition.

We shall stick it out to the end, but we are getting weaker of course, and the end cannot be far.
It seems a pity, but I do not think I can write more. R. SCOTT.

I am not too familiar with the IAB's but the reverse set up on the Souval looks like what i would call period compatible.
I am sure that Ned is correct in his observation regarding the badge.
Regards,Martin.
I agree with Ned and Martin; both are good originals.
As stated, both are in worn condition and this should be considered when discussing the purchase price.
The missing badge pin on the MK1 further reduces the value.
The MK1 is the most common of the MK1-7 series of Gablonz manufactured Infanterie Sturmabzeichen's. The details are basically the same on the seven variants albeit, there are slight differences in the obverse designs and all have the Gablonz specific ball hinge hardware.
The MK series is thought to be produced by the A.G.M.u.K. conglomerate but, which specific members were involved is still unknown.

I agree with Ned.both good.
I can only agree with the other guys. Souval awards are somewhat a grey area of awards, but no worries with your example. The M.K1 ISA's good too. Shame they're de-Swazed but both are original examples none the less. Stewy
They have the swastika but it's just edited out, thanks for all the info everyone!
Yep. Sorry, I miss read it. Stewy
Well unfortunately a deal was not made. He wanted $300 at first and then $200 but that was still way to much in my opinion.
That isn't over the top (for the pair) at todays prices IMO. Stewy
