Infanterie Sturmabzeichen

Hi chaps, thought I'd show you my latest find.
A nice and frosty Infanterie Sturmabzeichen im silber.
It has the best detail and 'silvering' out of all these awards I own (which isn't many lol!)
As you can see it isn't maker marked but I've been comparing it to a few I've found on the internet and looks like it may be the so called 'Vienna' design.
Not that I'm any clearer on the actual maker tho

It's a fine looking badge and no mistake! The finish is preserved amazingly well for a zincer. Can BSW Infanterie badges be found with any other reverse hardware?

Hi Adrian,

Jay's variant is a beautiful unmarked BSW with a wrap around hinge.

Some other variants can be found with:

-A block hinge.
-A waffle crimp.

I can only agree with my friend Jordi on the different BSW set ups.

Jordi, curious set up on that first BSW or I just noticed it...That catch style and block hinge is mostly seen IMO on Micro marked BSW's.
