    Don't particularly like the hinge - hard to see really. But I'm no expert.

    The photos are very dark. Just clear, full-frame shots of both sides
    in better lighting would help.

    Pin missing on hinge has wire to hold in other than that let me know.

    It looks like a textbook GWL badge. The features I would expect to see from this maker are all there - except for the hinge pin obviously and the main pin has been re-applied backwards - and it has a wonderful patina. Nice badge.

    Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

    Now that I can see it clearer, It looks Ok..............

    The pin though, has been re-attached upside down. The 'flat' end should
    be facing the back of the badge.

    The flat of the pin is supposed to rest against the badge and act as a 'spring'
    to aid in pressing the pin to the catch.
