Searching for anything relating to, Anton Boos, 934 Stamm. Kp. Pz. Erz. Abt. 7, 3 Kompanie, Panzer-Regiment 2, 16th Panzer-Division (My father)
It looks to me like it's a Mayer design badge, but i'm not convinced if it's genuine due to the lack of detail on the obverse. The lack of sawing under the swastika and the pin also confuse me a little.Better wait for the other guys, they'll know for sure.

I am inclined to agree with you Ned. The lack of sawing beside the swastika does not really concern me as I know they exist this way. I also noticed the flat wire catch.by big ned
