I have another question, why is this one called "daisy"?
Thanks in advance,
Fredder
Good morning gents, I missed this one yesterday but for what it is worth I like this one too.
It is to my mind a tombak (brass) version with most of the silver finish lost to time rather than wear. There is a steel version which likely due to the metal being somewhat harder to stamp than tombak is not quite as well defined. You willof course notice that this version has different catch and hinge set up.
Regards
Mark

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing he cares more about than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature with no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."
Thank you very much for your help, you are right
