    Hello All,
Last badge from a small Brit Vet group I picked up is this nice IAB in silver.
I have popped the Army Para and Flak on prior to this post.
There is still a considerable amount of finish on it.
I do believe this is attributed to S&L
I think it is known as the crimped hinge 'scooped back example.

My apologies for the pictures of the reverse,
I had taken them out of the bath and took some quick shots whilst I still had some daylight.

If I had ever had chance to meet the chap who liberated the little set I would have said ‘Well done that man’

I won’t bother with the couple of Iron Crosses that came with the group…

    All the best
    Doug

    A very nice example Doug!
    Congrats on getting this one!
Yes, they are attributed to ST&L.
I have seen quite a few of these with good finish and do own one as well. I do like the detail in these.

    Hello Doug

Nice example and you are correct...this one is attributed to the firm of Steinhauer & Lück, Lüdenscheid.

The general perception is this one is a later war variant due to the crimped in hardware and the simplistic design.

    Congrats on your new group...

    Best Regards, fischer
