A new addition to my IAB collection.
Typically, when we see an IAB by this maker, we see the sheet metal hinge, crimped in version as seen here.

This variation with a soldered on barrel hinge is less often encountered.

Of all the hardware fitted to the Zimmermanns this has got to be the best quality including the barrel hinge that is crimped in variant which I am fond of as well.
    Nice addition.
    Great photos Ralph.

    All the best

    Nice one Ralph!

Here's mine with a variant rear set up including a wraparound sheet metal hinge (being soldered not crimped) and small rectangular shaped baseplate with a round wire catch.

    Regards, Ned.

    Nice catch Ralph...

This Zimmermann ISA with the large barrel hinge and oblong shaped catch plate is my personal favorite FZS variant.

Congrats my friend on finding such a nice one!

    Best regards, fischer

I am glad you like it!
I don't see this variation for sale very often. It is getting difficult to find the ones I still want for a reasonable price and in a reasonable condition.
