A good Infanterie Sturmabzeichen by Steinhauer & Luck imo Regards ,Paul
I disagree.
At first, I thought it was also but, after looking closer, there are some incorrect details.
I don't like the shape of the eagle's eye or talons. The leaf between the stock and the shoulder strap, from the reverse, is incorrect.
This variant should be maker marked as well. Also, the mounting area for the hinge and catch should have a raised guide for mounting the hardware.
Here is my example to compare.
Infanterie Sturmabzeichen in Silber, FZS, Fritz Zimmermann Stuttgart
Ralph.
Searching for anything relating to, Anton Boos, 934 Stamm. Kp. Pz. Erz. Abt. 7, 3 Kompanie, Panzer-Regiment 2, 16th Panzer-Division (My father)
mmmm, I saw the Fritz Zimmerman one , The barrel hinge is not as wide nor is the Adlers head the same as the op's , but it compares in my eyes, very favorably with your unmarked S&L Infanterie Sturmabzeichen in Silber, Steinhauer & Luck (maybe I should go to spec savers haha) regards,Paul
Thanks for the constructive input - I really do appriciate you help.
