It appears to be in very nice condition!
If I am not mistaken, this one is referred to as the "broken stem". A good description of it exists here on a thread of my example. What does the packet say on it, if anything?

    Hello

I agree with Ralph's conclusions on this one; an unknown original referred to as the Broken Stem variant.

Is the LDO packet made of paper or is it the clear cellophane type?

    Thanks for the comments!

The packet is the cellophane type. It is fragile and most of the printing is faded and illeligable.

Are you able to find any L/? marks on it anywhere?

No, none at all. Just the LDO label and standard printing.

Here's one from my collection of the same type as you show. The catch is missing unfortunately.....

Great looking set made for sale in the retail shops. Only wholesalers who were recognized by the LDO could sell these items.

I have a bronze set with the same cellophane LDO packet. The packets are delicate and are rare when compared to the Infanterie Sturmabzeichen; handle it with care

As to an L/ number on the badge, unfortunately they were not marked.
If they were, we would probably have a good idea who made these variants. To date, there are some theories but all conjecture at this point.

    Best Regards, fischer
