Congrats on finding one in good shape...

HA IAB's are IMO tough to find and when they do show up, condition is usually very bad. It took me about a year to finally replace my beater with one in decent condition.

Nice pick-ups Nick. I asked a question a while ago. Regarding HA's. HA heer flaks seem to have been awarded mainly to SS soldiers. I wonder whether this is the case with IAB's? Stewy S

No way that we will ever know for sure. We will have to accept the fact that the Infanterie Sturmabzeichen was both awarded to Wehrmacht and SS soldiers alike. But it's an interesting thought though, never heard of this before.
