Some really are difficult to find with better finish. This is one I do not have yet.
It would appear that the hinge and catch have been repaired? Is there solder present on both? I also notice a slight difference to the pattern on the legs that I am not able to see on others at my disposal for reference.

I think it's in great shape! Nice honest wear to it and the base metal coming through the silver finish adds a lot of character.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
