A good original piece made from tombak in excellent condition. Almost impossible to identify a maker unless it is marked.
The ribnon and safety pin are also original.

I wonder if more of these could be attributed if they were as widely studied as something like an EK.

I see no reason to think otherwise but it would be a huge undertaking.

No problem, it's a nice medal and have a proper pin sewn to it is a small bonus.

That is true, but would probably be worth it for a devoted KVK collector. Something like that might come out when the prices for more common awards start to rise and more people become interested.
