It's a good idea. I've not known this forum before.
So...what do You think about this?
Seller gives only 2 photos. He says, that Ritterkreuz des KVK is dig out, heavy and he didn't know what is this. A ribbon is 25cm long.

This one is a fake. The dots on the stippling on the arms is too large, the detail on the swords is too soft and poorly detailed, the date font doesn't match any original cross, the oakleaf wreath is lacking detail on the leaves and the crispness of the swastika is missing. Couple that with the pitting visible on the surface of the swastika and you have a definite fake. The ribbon is a reproduction too and the ribbon loop is just a bent piece of wire, completely different from an original.
Originals are very high quality, with sharp details, much much better than the above.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
This one is awful ! The seller knows exactly what it is
and is purposely being vague.........!
Regards,
Steve.
Now that's better.
Thanks for uploading the pics Adrian and for pointing out all those issues.
The only thing i noticed was the date's fonts.
Looking for the photo albums of Leutnant Emil Freitag, 3. / G.R. 377
The stippling is an instant give away!

An easy to spot fake.
Not a pretty girl!
it,s nothing like mine, I have a mint marked 1-900 and is very crisp on all parts of the medal. A ex-friend took my case, now I need a case.
I will try o post some pictures of my Medal, My wife does a much better job than I do. The bottom of the medal has a "1" on one leg, and a"900" on the other. My grand-father's cousin gave me the medal along with his other Awards from the war. Alfred Keller, a general in the German Air Force. The ribbon loop has an inscription and number on it as well. G. Berger, Number 275991. Can anyone help me out on this name and number. Thank you. Brustmann.
