I agree with Nick a very nice example of a 50 (Karl Gschiermeister) KvK1.

Note large/wide pin setup and crimp at the hinge of the pin.

Second, can anyone post a photo here of an original KVK from this maker with this shape pin and this type catch?

Third, has anyone actually seen an original KVK1 from this maker with swords. All my references say this maker only produced the version without swords.

My questions still apply to a '51' marked KVK.

Can anyone post a pic of an original and has anyone seen an original KVK1 marked '51'?

They just didn't exist pre May 1945 and as such I would return the medal above and seek your money back.
