Hi Pierre,
I don't like this mark. Deschler's "1" should be with a foot - and not so big.
Here you can compare:
1 Deschler und Sohn, M

The case is a mid to late war type, no problems that I can see. The cross is the big "1" maker marked type that's been slightly mistruck, but other than that looks to be a fine buntmetall piece. I wonder if it's from the Deschler horde find a few years back?
Regards, Ned.

Hi Tomasz,
There are two accepted maker mars, the small "1" and big "1". If you look at the cross without swords at the bottom of your link it's the same big "1". The missing "foot" is in my opinion a misstrike and not uncommon to find.
Regards, Ned.

Hi Gentlemen,
I have received it a few days ago, it is as seen on the other pictures a very well preserved set and I am very happy with it. I try to have at least one example in pretty good condition of each (affordable) german WWII award and now I have my "good" KVK1.
I would like to thank you again for your lightening opinions that confirmed me it's a genuine.
regards,
Pierre
