    Default Kriegsverdienstkreuz 1. Klasse ohne Schwerten mit etui.

    This medal I have had for near on 30 years. It came with a load of other medals and badges from an old Major who was one of the first british officers into the Reichkanzlei. When I got it from him there was a Eastern peoples medal 1st class in the box and the kvk was loose. There is still a feint impression of the e/p medal in the lining of the box.
    Any know who the maker might be?

    Nice set Damien, thank you for posting. I would hazard a guess at it being by Wilhelm Deumer or Julius Bauer.

    Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
