Greetings. Have the opportunity to grab potential beauty. Based on my own homework I think this one is a good one, but, shall solicit your opinions. Marked "L11" on reverse. Much appreciated!

Its a good Deumer set

Nope, sorry Nick, absolutely not. This is a Floch fake. I have no idea about the case but the cross is clearly a reproduction from the 'Haus of Floch'.
Several reasons:
First of all the grips on the sword handles on original Deumer crosses are well defined and not straight like the above.
Secondly, this reverse hardware is not found on Deumer crosses but is found on Floch fakes.
Thirdly, look at the reverse. Where the top edge of the right hand side sword (as you look at it) meets the edge of the 12 o'clock arm you will see a pimple of metal where they join. A feature of Floch crosses.
I would resist the temptation to 'grab' this set!

Thanks Adrian, I was looking at the upper end pin by the hinge block to see if it had the cut outs which it doesnt appear to have.
You are absolutely correct on the pimple !! Herr Floch catches me out again

Don't forget the cut outs vary in size, some are easier to see than others. From the shots of the reverse of the pin it doesn't seem apparent but I'm willing to bet if we get a good shot of the hinge block with the needle in the closed position there will be a trace of it.
