I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice with this piece, according to the dealer it is all original and the ring is marked with 16 and the asking price is £38

An original award produced by Alois Rettenmaier...these can be found at around 35 Euros.

The ribbon looks good also, i have one just as nice in my collection, nice find! These sell in the U.S. for $25-45.

That's a very nice example you have Glenn, I currently have an Eastern Front Medal on the way to me and my first buy, a maker marked EKII which will be the first piece to start my collection.
