Hello
From these pictures it looks like a good one to
Cannot comment on the ribbon though.
It looks okay to me as well. The detail is good and the finish is nice. The ribbon appears to be okay to me as well.
Is the ring stamped?
Some of the others may be able to tell you the maker even if it isn't.

I haven't been able to look at the ring under magnification, but I believe it is not stamped. What about the ribbons says reproduction/original to the naked eye? The material and stitching?
Hi, the repro ribbons these days are made quite like the period ones. The type of materials used are one way to tell. Most repros are a synthetic. Just judging by the eye is very hard to do, but, on obvious repros, the whites appear almost too white.
Nice, clean kriegsverdienstkreuz 2nd . K.
original KV medal
I am glad I got this piece. I have been looking for one and figured this one looked really good. I am still very new to the hobby and have already (I think) gotten a repro item. I hope to keep the collection, such as it is, mostly original. Thanks all for your valued input!
So, I looked at the ring with a jewlers loop and there is indeed a makers mark. It is marked 100 very faintly. It is a Rudolf Wachtler? I probably spelled that name wrong, but I found it on the LDO manufacturers list.
