Hi all,
I think the medal and ribbon for this is ok, but would like to know for sure. The acorn leaves look a little soft.

I'm trying to learn a bit about ribbons at the moment. Does this one look genuine? Some I have feel smooth and stiff, others are silky, some are hard and crispy... Is there a way of telling an original by the way the threads at the edges of the ribbon loop around? I've got replacement ribbons that definitely feel wrong, having a rough edge without the loops. Thanks for any help!

This is an high quality original KVK2 made of tombac. Very nice.

The ribbon seems correct as well.

Is there any markings in the ribbon ring?

Great, thanks! Unfortunately there is no maker mark on the ribbon ring. How can you tell that this ribbon is original?
